Some of the most interesting real estate conversations I have are not about Beverly Hills. They are about what happens when a globally mobile, lifestyle-conscious buyer begins to think beyond their primary market — about where in the world a second or third property might enrich their life in a way that a traditional investment asset cannot.

There is a common assumption in real estate marketing that maximum exposure equals maximum results. In the broader residential market, that logic holds reasonably well. In the luxury market — particularly at the level of Beverly Hills and the surrounding communities — it often leads to the wrong outcome.
